Remember
- Don't lose hope - keep checking! Whoever found your pet may not return it right away.
- License your dog and keep your address and telephone information current with the licensing agency.
- Consider having your veterinarian insert a pet tracking microchip under you pet's skin. These will allow him or her to be identified even the pet tag is lost.
- Keep a current picture of your pet. It will be helpful if you have to make a "Lost Pet" poster.
